After a very long absence from photography (got caught up up in the usual work, school, life, etc), I am back in the saddle again and taking pictures wherever and whenever I can. I just upgraded my equipment and I'm sporting a new Nikon D7000 with a couple of new lenses: -Nikkor 50MM f/1.8 (I don't know what took me so long to purchase my first prime lens!) -Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 (a super-awesome ultra-wide lens) With my new toys and old I've been out and about capturing new scenes where and when I can. Man, it has been forever since I've updated or uploaded anything on here! I've been really busy with two and a a half jobs, being a full-time student, and still trying to be sociable with friends. Everywhere I go I see things that would "make for an awesome photo." I miss taking a lot of pictures, and hopefully next week sometime I can get out for a day and do just that around downtown Omaha. We'll see though. So I just wanted to say "hello" to all my DA friends and to let them all know I'm still alive. :)

I know I haven't been on here in forever, but I have a few reasons as to why: Life in California had been really, really busy and I was on the computer WAY less.
